You cannot leave Nemi without having tasted the famous wild strawberries, served in various ways: from desserts to ice creams, to the typical liqueur. The village is small and easily explored on foot, but it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes to explore the cobbled streets and the paths that descend towards the lake.

How to get there

Nemi is easily reachable from Roma. By car, you can take the Via Appia or the Via dei Laghi, enjoying the view of the woods. For those who prefer public transport, it is possible to use regional trains to Velletri or Albano Laziale and continue with local buses towards the center of Nemi.
